Vista is supposed 2 have its own security system setup and Windows Defender is a default built in. Check with Microsoft 2 C what 3rd party security software is compatible

visit www.eset.com

they claim to be better than anything else on the market. better than mcafee, kepersky, etc.

they have a 30-days-trial. so i think u should give it a try. not many antivirus programme is compatible with Vista cuz it's still too new. if u insist on mcafee, use the 8.5enterprise version. that's all i know. hope it helps
I believe Norton, Avast, and AVG are all avaliable for download for Vista.

Norton 2007 is for WinXP and Vista. Just got it an hour ago at COMPUSA for $9.99 - 3 user. Of course I had to pay $50 but will send for rebates.
Kaspersky anti virus..I was just on their site to download the free trail and it says it can be used on vista.
