Do not use Norton Antivirus. It makes your computer so slow that you practically fall asleep before anything happens. Also, you can't use you're computer for about 10 minutes until it checks through all the drives.
I am running a P-III 500mhz and I use AVG free Edition. Works great since '03.
NOD32!Don't use Norton Antivirus or the computer would get slower than a turtle.

I think KASPERSKY is the one which will not slow down computer's speed.......................by makin some configurations you can run the scan by closing the anti virus window. it will run automatically.........
