1.AVG - Light on the system , very efficient.

2. McAfee - Hungry for resources, efficient.

3. Norton - Hungry for resources, efficient.

4. Zone Alarm Security Suit - Complete protection with a firewall, antivirus and spyware adware checker.

I use the 4th option. Earlier used to use AVG.

I prefer AVG's free edition over any other - it takes up less resources and is really stable.

Symantec's Norton AntiVirus is a really good program, but it's a memory hog and can slow some computers down.
